Serenity Series Hotel Ice Maker and Dispenser
Hoshizaki America has introduced the Serenity Series Hotel Ice Maker and Dispenser (DKM-500). The icemaker is 35 percent quieter than other icemakers/dispensers. It can dispense 13 pounds of ice per minute and store up to 200 pounds of ice. The product is protected by HoshiGuard Antimicrobial Agent within the ice making zone to reduce the risk of cross contamination, plus it features antimicrobial in the push button area. A stainless steel evaporator with no plating or chipping allows for individual crescent cubes to be formed on both sides of the evaporator. The CycleSaver® Design allows the cuber to produce the same quantity of ice in about half the cycles of the other ice machines. The DKM-500 is available with 6-inch legs or 6-inch casters. Serviceability and installation are convenient because technicians can access the machine from the front by removing the single panel and the unit can easily be moved on casters.
